To design the headquarter building for a national famous company, we try our best to highlight the company culture and features of China Mobile in all aspects while respecting existing urban planning. With "urban living room" as our design concept, low energy consumption as our goal, human-orientation as our design principle, we apply the company logo into our design three-dimensionally. The north tower and south tower are connected by corridors. Two podiums in the middle create an atrium with natural daylight, which can be used for conference and exhibition. Main entrance, together with light corridors and elevated ground space, becomes a grey area that provides natural transition from outdoor to indoor space. The natural daylight in corridors and leaf-shape atrium varies with the change of sunlight angle, creating a dynamic sense of flow. The roof garden of the atrium connects two wings by bridge corridors, providing a public space as living room for activities and communication.
