Recently, at the 8th Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) Planning Awards 2023 presentation ceremony, two ARCHILAND projects, "Innovation Water Town Urban Design of Yangtze Delta Demonstration Zone" ， and "Culture Regeneration Urban Design of Central Axis in Jiaxing Ancient Town", won the Bronze Award under the category of Excellence in Planning （500 Ha up to 5000 Ha），and Special Mention Award under the category of Excellence in Urban Design, Heritage & Conservation.

Innovation Water Town Urban Design of Yangtze Delta Demonstration Zone

Xiangfudang Innovation Centre is located in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, with a total area of about 47 square kilometres, and is the core area of the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone. The 8th Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) Planning Awards Jury commented on the Xiangfudang Innovation Centre project as "a well thought out and executed plan to revive a traditional water village. The plan was developed through a very rigorous and complete planning model. The "water township" becomes an effective and credible organizational tool. A clear and interesting planning strategy is proposed for areas with different characteristics. It is a well-prepared and credible endeavor that inherits and builds on the character and heritage of the area, transforming it into a modern water village with a high probability of success".

Culture Regeneration Urban Design of Central Axis in Jiaxing Ancient Town

Jiaxing Central Cultural Axis is a central axis spanning approximately 2.6km from the Haogu Pagoda at the South Lake of Jiaxing, along Funan Street to Zicheng, and northwards along the Shaonian Road to the Yuehe Historical Quarter, for the slow enjoyment of the ancient city. The Jury commented on the Jiaxing Central Cultural Axis Urban Renewal Project that it is "a very capable urban revitalization scheme that blends the old with the new and also includes community open space. With the use of the Barcelona Super Neighborhood concept, a large amount of blue-green and heritage space has been sculpted and protected. The plan prioritizes pedestrians, allowing people to take their time and appreciate the old city. It is a commendable showcase of Jiaxing's deep cultural heritage."
