Sustainable Design China Summit 2023 was grandly held at Beijing Exhibition Center from September 21st to 23rd. The summit brought together over 50 world-renowned designers, architects, sustainability innovators and decision makers to share the latest achievements in sustainable design philosophy with thousands of professional audience onsite, and explored the sustainable future from a design perspective. ARCHILAND was invited to participate in this grand event, bringing the latest design concepts and project cases to understand the philosophy of sustainable development from a design perspective together with industry peers, and start an in-depth thinking about the sustainable future.

Continuing last year's excitement, this year's summit continued to focus on the four major topics of Designing a Sustainable World, Recycling Design Thinking, Zero Carbon, and Constructing a Green Future, with the addition of two new areas of interest, user-friendly offices and all-round green hotels. Mr. Sun Zheng, Director of ARCHILAND, and Mr. Vignes Olivier, Principal Architect of ARCHILAND, attended the summit. Mr. Vignes Olivier, gave a speech titled "Low Carbon City / New Model Driving The Future", in which he combined with ARCHILAND’s actual project cases and proposed that adopting eco-orientated urban planning is essential to address the issue of Mr. Vignes Olivier presented the importance of adopting eco-orientated urban planning to meet the challenges of a low-emission, livable, healthy and socially balanced city, and shared his valuable experience in promoting low-carbon city design.

The inaugural Sustainable Design China Summit (or SDS), which started in 2022, aims to provide an unrivalled opportunity for industry colleagues a network with industry pioneers and to present the latest in sustainable practice through a combination of exhibitions, special programs and other elements. It is an unparalleled summit experience. As an international platform that brings together opinion leaders and experts in the field of sustainability, each summit will focus on a different topic of concern to the industry, as well as the construction of sustainable and green design - to start the exchange of ideas, collide with a rich variety of inspirations, and catalyze sustainable design localization strategies, and shape the future of sustainable design. The Summit will focus on different topics of interest to the industry and the building of sustainable and green design - a meeting of minds that will generate a wealth of inspiration and localized strategies for sustainable design, shaping the future of sustainable design innovation.
