ARCHILAND INVITED TO CARBON MANAGEMENT SEMINAR, SHARES FULL-CYCLE CARBON NEUTRALITY PRACTICES

ARCHILAND was recently invited to speak at the Seminar on Carbon Management Policy Frameworks and Implementation Pathways for the Construction and Building Materials Industry, hosted by the China National Testing & Inspection Holding Group (CTC) in Tianjin. Mr. Sun Zheng, Director of ARCHILAND, delivered a keynote speech, sharing the firm's practical experience and insights in full-cycle carbon neutrality planning and design.

In his presentation, Mr. Sun Zheng drew on ARCHILAND's front-end practices in multiple urban regeneration and zero-carbon park projects in Tianjin, Beijing, and other cities. He emphasized the need to establish effective synergy between the design front-end and the industry chain. By integrating material selection strategies, modular design approaches, and spatial optimization, low-carbon material application can be promoted at the source. He stressed that the effective adoption of green building materials relies not only on back-end technologies but also on clear front-end design guidelines, coupled with supportive policies such as preferential bidding credits and green finance mechanisms, to create a complete, closed-loop pathway from planning to implementation.

Following the seminar, Mr. Sun Zheng engaged in in-depth exchanges with experts from CTC, the Energy Foundation, building material manufacturers, and research institutions. He stated that ARCHILAND will continue to monitor the evolution of carbon management policies, actively bridge the urban design and planning front-end with industry needs, and explore ways to align domestic building material production systems with international carbon rules such as the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), thereby supporting the sustainable globalization of China's construction industry.
