After the official opening ceremony held on September 10, Samaranch Memorial has become the 12th Olympic Museum in the world. Jacques Rogge, the President of International Olympic Committee, unveiled the Samaranch Memorial officially.

In order to commemorate the third anniversary of Samaranch’s death, the Samaranch Memorial has started its trial operation in April this year. Now, it has officially opened to the public. Meanwhile, it also raised the curtain of the East Asian Games hosted here in October.
