ARCHILAND INVITED TO EUCCC'S CONSTRUCTION WORKING GROUP MEETING

Recently, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) Construction Working Group meeting was held at the EUCCC Lufthansa Centre in Chaoyang District, Beijing, with the theme of ‘Transitioning the Built Environment Towards a More Sustainable Future: Theory and Design of Green Building Architecture’. Organized by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), the conference invites national and international experts and scholars to share the latest insights, trends and practices in the field of construction, and ARCHILAND was invited to be one of the speakers of the conference to share urban development within planetary boundaries and the role of circular design in green architecture.

During the conference, Mr. Morten Holm, Director of ARCHILAND, gave a presentation on urban development within planetary boundaries and the role of circular design in green building based on the Doughnut Theory. Mr. Holm has been responsible for projects focusing on ecology, sustainability and carbon footprint since 2009 and has won awards from sustainable architecture to urban design in Europe and China over the past three decades, including one of the first near-zero carbon buildings in China.
