JIEFANG SOUTH ROAD GREEN RIBBON
This plot running from the Outer Ring Road to Haihe River in the city center looks like an odd oversized pizza cut from the circular Tianjin City. The scale of this project determines that the primary task is to expand and develop a green Tianjin. The green ring along the Outer Ring Road is now detached from the green pocket and parks inside the city. Through our design, we convert the old industrial base along rail tracks to a mixed green and cultural ribbon. In this green area, part of the old industrial buildings have been retained to witness new chapter of Tianjin. The green ribbon connects varying function islands together. Each community is planned and built based on local public and park facilities.
