M+ INNOVATION - Shanghai Cultural and Creative Neighborhood is located in the core area of Xuhui District in Shanghai, the former three-gun old factory buildings of Shanghai in the early 1980s. The project transforms the old factory buildings in the city into a creative and fashionable Shangjie Loft Creative Park, with an open spatial layout, continuing the emerging creativity and innovation patterns in the park, providing multi-dimensional creative spaces, combined with activity plazas, providing multi-functional and multi-level urban living rooms for the public. The rooftop section is planned as a rooftop farm, rooftop sports and rooftop café, which are linked by a sky corridor to create a new type of green roof. The façade of the building adopts the elements of the old spinning wheel of the textile factory for creative façade treatment. The interior space follows the strategy of "moderate renovation", retaining the historical memory of the building on the basis of "adaptive" remodeling and integrating it with contemporary lifestyles.
