TIANJIN HEPING RENEWAL
Heping District, as the core area of Tianjin city center, is the geographical, financial, historical and cultural center of Tianjin, and is the area best represents Tianjin as well. It is basically a built-up area with lots of historical buildings and blocks. The overall urban design needs to provide not only general solutions on urban space and guidance of urban style, but also the methods to enhance urban competitiveness, promote the development of stock market and stimulate the vitality of urban center. In our urban design and planning, from multiple aspects such as transportation, population, land use, economy, industry and supporting facilities, based on current problems, we strive to explore the new strategy of urban renewal, gradually optimize urban functions, repair urban system and improve urban quality, in order to realize the thorough renewal of Heping District.
