Adhering to the design principles of one-stop community parlor, green and low-carbon sustainability, and multi-dimensional pedestrian connectivity, the Guangfulin Cultural and Sports Center provides a wealth of ancillary services for the public while integrating the natural environment with the center to create a “free-breathing, naturally-growing in the environment, and a “Low Carbon City”which truly integrating green into daily life. The building integrates a cultural center, a sports center, a comprehensive retirement center, a community school, and a community management building for a variety of uses and a wide range of people. Each roof has been given a different theme for landscape activities, and the interlocking sloping roofs in the shape of a “human” create an interesting experience of walking from the southern riverbank, making the building not only a cultural and sports center, but also a park on the doorsteps of the residents of Guangfulin.
