BINHAI PEARL HARBOR
Binhai Tourism Area, as one of the eight functional zones of Binhai New District, will become a well-known tourism destination and a high-end leisure area. The basic intention of this planning is to provide more convenient and suitable urban structure for future development of tourism in Binhai, make Binhai Tourism Area a city-level urban service core and complete the construction of international leisure and livable tourism destination. Based on original costal line, we come up with the concept of costal corniche. Along the natural extension of the coast, large public buildings such as the National Maritime Museum, yacht area, exhibition area and leisure area can be connected by the corniche, forming the costal landscape belt and realizing the integration of regional images and functions. Meanwhile, a special green ring road for pedestrian and bicyclists has been formed, which provide possibilities to build an international leisure ecological city.
