NANJING HIGH-TECH ZONE
With the rapid development of the city, Nanjing High-tech Zone that focuses on the construction of industrial park cannot meet the requirements brought by regional development and new economic models. How to optimize and activate existing urban space and promote the regional regeneration is the main issue. Our joint design team from ARCHILAND and COWI, based on the planning experience of Aarhus, an old industrial city in Denmark, provides solutions on the integration and improvement of urban systems such as traffic, environment, municipal facilities and ecological livable living environment. We aim to promote the innovative industry upgrade, achieve the integration between city and industry based on low-carbon development concept, and build a coordinated and ecological innovation city.
